Resident or registered agent
Kansas uses “resident agent,” also called a registered agent. The role receives and forwards legal process and state communications; it is not a government filing-agent license or ordinary staff mail forwarding.
Kansas business services
A resident agent is your business’s designated Kansas contact for legal process and state communications. Explore that role alongside two distinct reporting-support options.

Kansas requires a physical street office, not a P.O. box or virtual PMB. A qualifying domestic-entity agent must be in good standing, keep its registered and business offices identical, and have that office generally open.
A service agreement alone does not change your state record. After eligibility and office coverage are established, you must formally authorize Brixen’s appointment through the appropriate Kansas filing.

Starting, expanding or switching
Review your entity’s Kansas requirements before naming or changing an agent. Brixen’s proposed coverage is Kansas-only; this website does not create an appointment or process a filing.
The Kansas online change-agent filing fee is $30 for most for-profit entities under the current ROA instructions. This is a state charge, separate from Brixen’s service fee. Other entity categories and filing methods may differ; confirm the applicable fee with the Secretary of State.
